Jarrad Page Out For The Year, Placed On IR

Jarrad Page was placed on IR and CB Travis Daniels was picked back up after his release over two months ago. To top it all off, Jon McGraw will probably miss this game as well, leaving DaJuan Morgan as the only safety left on the team.

Nobody knows if Travis Daniels will be filling in at safety or if he was just the next player on the list when they had room to sign one. Josh Looney at KCCHIEFS.com has reported that Maurice Leggett has actually spent time in Page's position this week. That would be a huge surprise to Chiefs fans if Maurice Leggett were lined up at Safety.

After missing those two tackles on Miles Austin, we haven't seen too much of Leggett, so it seems like a stretch to see him in a more physical role as a safety.

My guess is that DaJuan Morgan is finally going to get his first start as a safety in the NFL. If he can resemble anything that he did in the pre-season, this could be a huge boost for the Chiefs. With Jon McGraw probably out, Jarrad Page on IR and the release of Bernard Pollard, the Chiefs must have Morgan prepared or this just becomes another position that critics will look at as mis-managed and under coached.
